The most fun you will have fishing for blackfish in shallow water! Built around HD Mustad ultra point hooks with plenty of power to get the fish out. This banana head style jig will get where the blackfish are and land perfect every time. Available in two proven color patterns for different conditions and preferences.
Designed for light to medium spinning tackle, braided line and fluorocarbon leaders. It is best to use the lightest jig you are able to hold bottom with consistency.  Add the crab of your choice let sit on the bottom and be ready to set the hook. Depending on the type of crab it may be better to use 1/2 or 1/4 of  crab at a time. These jigs are also very effective for other species like sea bass and porgies when paired with other baits.

Great Jigs

I really like these jigs. I fish them for both tog and porgy. Both color patterns work well in my area. Would be nice to see some models up to 2 Oz as well for deeper waters.

Very Nice Jigs

Paint holds up well in the rocks and the hook is solid and stays sharp. It's a very nice jig head and I am using for porgy in about 20 -35 feet of water from my kayak. Had a few out of season tog on them, can't wait for opening day in October. 5 out 5.

Wish they made a few with slightly smaller hooks specifically for porgy and I wish they made them in 1.5, 2 and 2.5 oz for fishing the inlet jetties as well.
